Summer is GOOD

July is here, and summer is darned good.  It's hard to remember how cold, and snowy it was just 6 months ago here.  We've been spending many nights on the deck, in the pool or hot tub, just soaking in the wonderful weather.  The Independence day holiday was a family time, with lots of food, talking, playing horseshoes, going to the parade, and the park for the VFW chicken dinner - all the stuff I've grown to love about July 4th.  We have it sooo good here in our little town!  God has just rained down blessings on our family.  Thank you Lord.

 

Tonight, I rehearsed at church, and it went quite well - Amy did a great job running the rehearsal.  Monitor mix was quite a challenge for some of the band members tho.  Went to Target to get a book, and enjoyed just walking around a bit in the store.

 

Off to rub my wife's feet, and go to sleep.
