Working With Your Hands

God gave me the gift of fixing things.  It's a pleasure for me to take something apart, and fix something about it that was wrong, and put it back together again.  "A man can do nothing better than to eat, and drink, and find satisfaction in his work".  That is what Solomon said, and I believe it.  The simple pleasure of working with my hands, building something, or repairing something brings me joy.  There is honor in hard work, beauty in being outside in the elements, and happiness in being fatigued at the end of the day.

 

God - thank you for the work we have to do, and the sense of accomplishment it brings.  You bring meaning to life every day.
