I worked on the studio computer today. I have a Roland digital mixer hooked up to it, and I hope to use Cakewalk to do some recording with it. So far, everything is working well. I had to find and load a new driver for Windows XP for the R-Bus interface between the mixer and the computer. What a search that was! But I found it, and got it installed. Seems to be working so far.

I'm tired, as it's 11:00, and I'm going to turn in...

It was a beautiful day in West Michigan today!! I love the Fall. We finished the CD tracks Sunday, and we're heading into mixdown. Looking forward to that.

Happy Labor Day! Today I'm going to get all red again - yes, the barn is getting stained some more. Almost done, and boy does it look different! That 100 year old wood just absorbs the stain like a sponge.
I feel good keeping the history of our barn alive by maintaining it. I hope to keep things up until the next family gets to live on this beautiful farm.

The first day of September was beautiful. Sat out on the deck today, and just admired it. Had some friends over, and grilled some steaks... mmmm.....Looking forward to a few days off on the long weekend. I'm going to try to stain the barn a bit this weekend.I hope you have some time off too. Enjoy it!
